Casio Renews Red Bull Racing Contract

Casio Red Bull WatchesCasio announced today that it has renewed its contract with Red Bull Racing to continue serving as a Red Bull Racing Team Partner for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Last year once again, Red Bull Racing took the Formula One™ World Championship, the pinnacle of motor racing. While supporting the Red Bull Racing team even more fervently than it did last year, Casio will make the most of this relationship to strengthen the brand image of its EDIFICE watches for men, which evoke a sense of velocity and motor-sports energy.

Red Bull Racing has been competing in Formula One™ Championship races since 2005. In the last two seasons the team captured double titles, winning both the Formula One Constructors’ Championship and the Formula One Drivers’ Championship. Red Bull Racing has demonstrated first-class ability and results.

Under the concept of “Speed and Intelligence,” the EDIFICE line of analog metal watches evokes a sense of velocity and motor-sports energy with the movement of the hands and distinctive watchface. Using the electronics technology that Casio has developed over many years, the lineup features a full range of measurement functions and distinctive face designs. Casio Releases New Baby-G Watches Featuring Watchfaces with Rock-Inspired Star and Skull Illuminations

The Casio Baby-G BGA-133 watches feature a Neon Illuminator that achieves original visual effects using a black light LED combined with special luminous ink. In the dark, the watchfaces glow with marks inspired by rock music, and the hands illuminate to create a one-of-a-kind visual effect.

The black Casio BGA-133-1B watch with gold watchface and red BGA-133-4B watch both feature a prominent star in the center of the watchface. The white BGA-133-7B watch features a watchface with cartoonish skulls that playfully illuminate to a cute shade of pink.

The BGA-133 watches feature large, sculpted numerals in different colors than the face, making them easier to read and accenting the watch design.

Casio Releases Baby-G Watches Designed by Ke$ha

Casio announced the release of new Baby-G watches featuring Ke$ha. Bringing her signature brand of style to fashionistas everywhere, global superstar and platinum selling singer/songwriter Ke$ha joins the Baby-G brand in announcing the launch of two Ke$ha-designed watches. Known for her fashion bravado, trendsetting accessories and overall style, when Ke$ha sang the most-played song of 2010 “TiK ToK,” the Baby-G brand listened. As ambassador for the popular watch line, the singer used her iconic imagery and one-of-a-kind style to develop this fall’s most exciting wrist wear.

Watches created in the collaboration between Ke$ha and Baby-G demonstrate the head-turning style that make both Ke$ha and Baby-G unique to their loyal fans. Ke$ha tackles two of her most signature themes in the design of her timepieces—animal print and All-American. Both watches are also adorned with Ke$ha’s signature “K$” logo.

The BGA-200KS conjures up Ke$ha’s wild side, as well as what is arguably the most identifiable theme in Ke$ha’s music, imagery and style, by using an animal print. She designed this watch with a leopard print pattern on the watch’s face and also its black resin strap.

For the second design’s look, Ke$ha created the patriotic BG-5600KS model, which features the colors and shapes of the American flag with red, white and blue in stars and stripes.

“Designing these two watches was very cool,” said Ke$ha. “I made them to be a reflection of my personality, music and style, and I hope people everywhere will have as much fun wearing them as I had designing them!”

The attention-grabbing watches also have the functionality that sets the Baby-G brand apart. Both models are shock resistant and 100 meters water resistant and equipped with an LED light with afterglow, world time from 48 cities and 29 time zones, and 1/100-second stopwatch. The BGA-200KS has a combination digital-analog face, and the BG-5600KS is all digital.
