Casio vintage presents new collaboration for the 40th anniversary of "back to the future"

To mark the 40th anniversary of the legendary 80s blockbuster "Back to the Future," CASIO VINTAGE presents its new limited-edition collaboration model – the CA-500WEBF-1AER.

Forty years ago, not only did the science fiction film about teenager Marty McFly, who was sent back in time in a time machine, become a huge box office hit, but a special accessory on Marty McFly's wrist also became a cult classic: The CASIO CA-500 calculator watch was an absolute novelty and technical innovation at the time – a digital watch with a calculator function that could perform the four basic arithmetic operations as well as 8-digit calculations. Since the 1980s, the calculator watch has been one of the absolute classics of the CASIO VINTAGE collection.

The new anniversary model CA-500WEBF-1AER takes its inspiration from the design of the DeLorean, the legendary time machine from the film. The different colors around the buttons are reminiscent of the time machine's timing circuits for setting the target date and time.

The flux capacitor, the iconic piece of fictional technology that transforms the DeLorean into a time machine and enables travel through time, is engraved on the case back. The CA-500WEBF-1AER is full of loving details, such as the Back to the Future logo on the strap clasp. The silver case and strap ensure an elegant look.The watch comes in a special packaging designed to resemble an old videotape that captures the world of the film – a very special collector's item for all CASIO VINTAGE and science fiction fans.
